Point Guard
Humble, TX
Signed — New Mexico State
He put the region on his back in March. Atascocita went through Dickinson, then Seven Lakes, then North Shore to win Region 3, and the point guard ran all of it — 14 points, six boards and six assists a night across a senior season that ended one possession short of the state final.
The assists number is the one to notice. A six-assist average on a team that scored the way this one did means the offense ran through him by design, and it is why New Mexico State came calling. He is one of three Division I signees in his graduating class alone — the deepest group Atascocita has sent out at once.
